Charmsmanship is the art of making the smallest things carry the greatest intention.
At Zanzzoa, a bag charm is not an afterthought, but a work in its own right. A pocket-sized canvas where imagination meets the saddle stitch, and where time is poured into millimetres instead of metres. Each charm is cut from fine leather, padded, hand-stitched and finished with the same care reserved for our Masterworks.
They are companions, mascots and tiny sculptures all at once. A small thing, made properly.
More than an accessory
Zanzzoa bag charms are made to live in motion, hanging from a bag, slipped onto a key ring, tied to a handle or hook. They bring a touch of playfulness to serious leatherwork, softening sharp silhouettes with rounded forms, gentle padding and minimal, expressive faces.
Every edge, stitch and curve is deliberate. The outline is clean, the stitching visible and even, celebrating that it is made by hand. Light in weight yet firm in construction, each charm is designed to be handled daily, carried often and to grow more characterful over time.

Within SEASON 1 and The Ascension, our charms are the most accessible way into the house, small works that carry the same philosophy as our larger pieces. They sit beside Le Petite Boutique and future Masterworks as part of a single story: objects conceived as wearable art, produced in very limited numbers, and made to be collected, gifted and cherished.

Zanzzoa hardware is chosen for its strength, precision, and quiet beauty. Crafted in metal that endures, whether stainless steel, brass, or gold finished, each piece is engineered to complement the leather it serves. Polished by hand and tested for weight and balance, the hardware becomes both structure and ornament, uniting function with elegance.
Hotstamping
Heat, pressure, and precision. The mark of Zanzzoa is embossed, not printed.
J&FJ Baker Bridle Leather
Made in Devonshire, England, Zanzzoa selects J&FJ Baker’s oak-bark-tanned bridle leather for its purity, provenance, and quiet strength. As the last remaining oak-bark tannery in Britain, Baker has refined its craft over six generations, allowing hides to tan slowly for more than a year in natural oak liquor and spring water.
The result is leather of exceptional depth and endurance; dense, supple, and rich with natural oils that form a soft bloom on the surface. Over time, it deepens in colour and gains a patina unique to its wearer. For Zanzzoa, it represents the rare union of nature, patience, and craftsmanship: a material alive with history, made to grow more beautiful with every touch.
