SEASON 1

Season 1 is where the house begins. Every piece made since 2025 belongs to it.

A season is not a year, and not a collection. It is a chapter. This one stays open. Season 2 is not waiting on a calendar — it waits for a reason.

The Four-Axis Stamp

How to read a piece.

Every significant piece is marked three times: the house and its season, the country of making, and its edition code.

The edition code is a letter and a number. The number runs from 0 to 9; the letter is the band of ten it belongs to. A0 is the very first. The first ten pieces are A0 through A9, the next ten B0 through B9, and so on. The letter tells you which ten a piece came from, the number its place within them.

Each silhouette keeps its own count, and each leather within it begins again at A0. There is one first Vyse in [Chèvre], and a separate first Vyse in alligator. Each marked A0, each a beginning of its own.

The mark gives the season and the number. It does not name the silhouette, the leather, or the colour, and it does not date the piece. Those live with the certificate, and in the register the house keeps. A mark can be admired, and one day copied. Only the house holds the book.

A Note on The Elly

The Elly follows its own grammar. It carries the Zanzzoa mark, Made in England and an edition mark. No season, no silhouette code. Its numbering runs in batches of seventeen, each batch hand-numbered. Two deliberate systems, kept apart on purpose.

Colour Card

Tarn Chèvre

A goatskin hand-boarded until its fine, pebbled grain stands up with depth, and dyed through rather than painted, so the colour holds even and true across a whole piece. Light to carry, far stronger than its weight, slow to age, much the same in ten years as the day you met it.

Named after the brand before Zanzzoa, Evergotten, under which we produed the first Elly bag charms in 2016. This French lambskin, originating from a historic French specialist in lambskins, is very soft and extremely supple to the touch with a light sheen and smooth finish. The skins are dyed all the way through and takes on colours immaculately..
