The House of Zanzzoa
Founded in 2013, the British house of Zanzzoa is devoted to the art of leather. Guided by two siblings, the maison pursues a singular path: to create objects where imagination meets the saddle stitch, and where time itself becomes a material.
In Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, every piece is stitched entirely by hand. Calfskin, chèvre and exotics like crocodile, ostrich and lizard are shaped with patience, their character revealed through the discipline of traditional saddlery. The pace is deliberate, with one or two creations each week, so that detail may be given its full measure.
Produced in very limited numbers, Zanzzoa’s works are conceived as wearable art. They carry with them a belief that true luxury is not measured in abundance, but in devotion to craft, to material, and to time.
